Air China Cargo and Tam Wing Kun Holdings held a signing ceremony for the new joint venture agreement for ACT Cargo (USA) in Beijing at 09:00 on 29th December 2015. Air China Cargo President Yao Jun and Tam Wing Kun Holdings Chairman Tam Wing Kun represented shareholders from both companies to sign the new agreement. This paves the way for both companies to continue jointly operating ACT for the eight more years from 1st January 2016. Air China Cargo will hold 75% of shares in ACT, and appoint key positions in ACT’s core management team, including the general manager and the deputy general manager, which will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of ACT.

Ever since the joint venture began 20 years ago, ACT is one of the more localised cargo sales agents in the USA. Through the efforts of the ACT team, it remains competitive in the North American air cargo market. Air China Cargo has placed great importance on the professional and localised ACR sales team. The new joint venture agreement will provide Air China Cargo with a platform to expand its cargo business in North America.
